Dysport® is a prescription botulinum toxin type A treatment that temporarily reduces activity in selected facial muscles. By relaxing targeted muscles, it can soften the appearance of movement-related lines while your natural facial features remain your own.
Dysport® is FDA-approved for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines—the frown lines between the eyebrows.
At ERA Wellness Spa, treatment is personalized to your facial movement, anatomy, treatment history and goals. Your provider will determine whether Dysport® is appropriate for you and which areas should be treated.
WHAT IS DYSPORT?
A wrinkle relaxer designed to soften frown lines caused by repeated movement.
03
HOW ERA PERSONALIZES IT
We evaluate how your face moves, your prior treatment experience and the result you want before creating an individualized Dysport® treatment plan.
02
WHAT IT IS DESIGNED FOR
Its FDA-approved cosmetic indication is the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines—the frown lines between the brows
01
HOW IT WORKS
Dysport® temporarily reduces the nerve signaling that causes selected facial muscles to contract, helping soften dynamic expression lines created by repeated movement.
WHY CONSIDER DYSPORT?
An established tox option with a treatment plan tailored to you.
Dysport® is one of the wrinkle-relaxing injectable options available at ERA Wellness Spa. Your provider may consider Dysport based on your facial movement, treatment history, previous response to tox and the result you want to achieve.
Already using Jeuveau or Botox®? You do not need to choose a product before your appointment. We can review your previous treatments, response and goals and recommend an individualized approach during your visit.
01
PERSONALIZED TO YOUR MOVEMENT
Your treatment is planned around your facial anatomy, muscle activity and the areas you want to soften—not a one-size-fits-all injection pattern.
02
DYSPORT HAS ITS OWN DOSING
Dysport® uses product-specific units that cannot be directly compared or converted to the units used with other botulinum toxin products. Your provider determines dosing specifically for Dysport and your treatment plan.
03
YOUR TREATMENT HISTORY MATTERS
If you have used Dysport® or another tox before, your previous treatment experience and response can help your provider create an individualized approach for your next visit.
01
FDA-APPROVED
FROWN LINES BETWEEN THE BROWS
Often called the “11s,” these vertical lines form with repeated frowning and are Dysport®’s FDA-approved cosmetic indication in adults
02
OFF-LABEL
FOREHEAD LINES
Horizontal forehead lines can develop with repeated brow movement. Dysport® treatment in this area is off-label and may be considered based on your anatomy, facial balance and goals.
03
OFF-LABEL
CROW’S FEET
Fine lines at the outer corners of the eyes appear with smiling and squinting. Dysport® treatment in this area is off-label and may be discussed when clinically appropriate.
04
OFF-LABEL
OTHER EXPRESSION-RELATED AREAS
Depending on your facial movement and goals, your provider may discuss additional cosmetic areas where botulinum toxin treatment may be appropriate. These uses may be off-label.
Off-label treatment means a medication is being used in a way that is not specifically included in its FDA-approved indication. Your provider will determine whether any treatment area is appropriate for you.
TREATMENT AREAS
Where expression lines tend to show up.
Dysport® is best known for softening the vertical “11s” between the brows. Depending on your facial anatomy, muscle movement and goals, your provider may also discuss other areas where a neuromodulator can help create a smoother, more balanced look.
FDA-approved use: FDA-approved use: Dysport® is approved for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines between the eyebrows in adults under 65 years of age.

DYSPORT® VS. OTHER WRINKLE RELAXERS
How Dysport® compares — and how we choose the right wrinkle relaxer for you.
Dysport®, Jeuveau®, and BOTOX® Cosmetic are prescription botulinum toxin type A products, but their formulations, dosing units, and FDA-approved uses differ. At ERA Wellness Spa, your provider recommends a treatment plan based on your facial anatomy, movement, goals, treatment history, previous response, and clinical judgment.

YOUR DYSPORT APPOINTMENT
Thoughtful treatment starts before the first injection.
At ERA Wellness Spa, Dysport® treatment is personalized around your facial movement, treatment history and goals. The aim is not to follow a preset pattern—it is to create a plan that makes sense for your face.
First time getting tox? You do not need to know exactly what to ask for. Your provider can review your concerns, explain appropriate options and answer questions before treatment.
Dysport® is a prescription medicine. Treatment suitability, dosing, placement and aftercare instructions are individualized by your healthcare provider.
01
BEFORE TREATMENT
START WITH YOUR FACE AND YOUR GOALS
Your provider reviews the areas that bother you, how your facial muscles move, relevant treatment history and what you want your result to look like.
02
DURING TREATMENT
PLACEMENT IS INDIVIDUALIZED
Dysport® is injected into selected muscles based on the treatment plan your provider creates for you. Dosing and placement are determined clinically rather than by a one-size-fits-all template.
03
AFTER TREATMENT
FOLLOW YOUR PROVIDER'S AFTERCARE
Your provider will give you specific post-treatment instructions. Injection-site pain or reaction can occur after Dysport® treatment, and your provider can review what to expect and when to contact the office.
REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS
Know what Dysport can change—and what it can’t.
Dysport® temporarily reduces muscle activity that contributes to expression lines. It can be an effective option when movement is part of the concern, but not every aesthetic goal is best treated with a wrinkle relaxer alone.
01
WHAT DYSPORT CAN DO
Soften expression lines created by repeated facial movement.
Dysport® works by temporarily reducing activity in selected muscles. Its FDA-approved cosmetic use is for moderate to severe glabellar lines—the vertical “11s” between the eyebrows—in adults under 65 years of age.
Best suited to: movement-related frown lines between the brows.
Treatment is temporary: muscle activity gradually returns over time.
Placement matters: your plan should reflect your anatomy, movement and goals.
02
WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
Dysport does not add facial volume or resurface the skin.
Concerns related to volume loss, facial contour, skin texture, pigment or deeper static lines may call for a different treatment approach rather than simply adding more wrinkle relaxer.
03
When More Than Dysport Makes Sense
Sometimes the best result comes from choosing the right combination.
Depending on what is creating the concern, your provider may discuss skincare, filler, laser or other treatments alongside—or instead of—Dysport® treatment.
Not every concern needs more wrinkle relaxer.
ERA evaluates what is actually contributing to the concern first, then recommends the treatment—or combination of treatments—that makes sense for your goals.

Is Dysport® the same as Jeuveau® or Botox® Cosmetic?
No. Dysport®, Jeuveau® and Botox® Cosmetic are different botulinum toxin type A products with product-specific formulations and dosing. Dysport units cannot be directly compared or converted to the units used with another botulinum toxin product.
Can Dysport® be used for forehead lines or crow’s feet?
Dysport’s FDA-approved cosmetic indication is for glabellar lines between the brows in adults. Cosmetic treatment in other areas, such as the forehead or crow’s feet, is considered off-label. Your provider may discuss off-label treatment when clinically appropriate for your anatomy and goals.

How often can I get Dysport®?
For glabellar lines, Dysport’s prescribing information states that retreatment should be given no more frequently than every 3 months. Your actual maintenance schedule should be based on your response and your provider’s clinical recommendations.
What should I know about Dysport® safety and side effects?
Dysport® is a prescription medicine and carries a boxed warning about the potential spread of botulinum toxin effects beyond the injection area. Tell your provider about your medical history, medications and any prior reactions to botulinum toxin products.
