MEN'S HEALTH, REFRAMED
Not every change is “just getting older.”
When your energy, recovery, focus or drive starts to feel different, the answer is not always to push harder. The first step is understanding what changed — and why.
LISTEN TO THE PATTERN, NOT JUST ONE SYMPTOM.
What men often notice first
These changes can overlap and may have more than one cause. A thoughtful evaluation looks at how the pieces fit together.
01
ENERGY
Energy feels different
More fatigue, less stamina, or needing longer to recover from work, training or daily life.
02
BODY
Your body responds differently
Changes in muscle, abdominal fat, strength or progress despite consistent effort.
03
FOCUS
Your edge feels harder to access
Brain fog, lower motivation, reduced focus or a sense that you are not operating at your usual level.
04
RECOVERY
Sleep, mood or sexual health shifts
Poor sleep, irritability, lower libido or other changes that may be worth investigating.
At ERA, we do not assume one symptom equals one diagnosis. Your history, symptoms, goals and targeted lab testing help guide the next step.
A MORE COMPLETE APPROACH
Men’s health is more than a testosterone number.
Hormones can matter, but they are only one part of the picture. ERA looks at your symptoms, health history, lab data and goals together so your plan is built around you—not a single result.
PERSONALIZED CARE. CLEARER ANSWERS. A PLAN THAT FITS YOU.
How we build your plan
The goal is not to chase a number. It is to understand what may be contributing to how you feel and create a practical path forward.
01
Start with what changed
We begin with your symptoms, timeline, medical history, current medications, lifestyle and the goals that matter most to you.
02
Measure what matters
Targeted lab testing can help evaluate hormones, metabolic health and other factors that may be influencing energy, performance and overall wellness.
03
Build around your goals
Your care plan is personalized to your findings and goals, with follow-up built in so treatment can be adjusted as your needs change.
MEN'S HEALTH SERVICES
Care that connects the dots.
Depending on your evaluation, your plan may include hormone optimization, functional wellness strategies, targeted lab testing and ongoing follow-up—selected around your symptoms, health history and goals.
04
Ongoing Follow-Up
Reassess symptoms, progress and labs over time so your plan can be adjusted as your needs and goals change.
03
Targeted Lab Testing
Use relevant lab data to evaluate hormones and other health markers that can help guide a more informed care plan.
02
Functional Wellness
Look beyond isolated symptoms to factors such as sleep, stress, nutrition, metabolic health and other contributors to how you feel.
01
Hormone Optimization
When appropriate, personalized hormone care may help address symptoms and support energy, performance and overall well-being.
Your plan may include one or several of these areas based on your individual evaluation.
TARGETED LAB TESTING
Look beyond a single number.
Your symptoms may overlap with hormone, thyroid, metabolic, nutritional or other health factors. Targeted lab testing helps provide context so your plan can be based on more than guesswork.
Testing is individualized. The exact labs ordered depend on your history, symptoms, medications, goals and clinical evaluation.
01
Testosterone and related hormone markers can help evaluate whether hormone balance may be contributing to changes in energy, libido, recovery or body composition.
Hormones
02
Thyroid function, glucose regulation, insulin, lipids and other metabolic markers can offer important context for energy, weight and long-term health.
Thyroid & Metabolic Health
03
Selected markers may help assess broader cardiometabolic risk and inflammation when clinically appropriate.
Cardiovascular & Inflammatory Markers
04
Safety & Monitoring
For men considering or receiving hormone therapy, appropriate monitoring may include blood counts and prostate-related testing based on age, history and treatment plan.
The goal: use the right information to understand the bigger picture, then build a plan that fits your needs.
HORMONE OPTIMIZATION
When hormones are part of the picture.
Low testosterone can overlap with many other causes of fatigue, reduced drive, changes in body composition and sexual health. ERA combines symptoms, health history and targeted lab testing before deciding whether testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) or another approach belongs in your plan.
A THOUGHTFUL, MONITORED APPROACH
02
Personalize the plan
When treatment is appropriate, the plan is individualized around your goals, clinical findings and ongoing response.
03
Monitor and adjust
Follow-up symptoms and labs help guide adjustments so care stays aligned with safety, progress and long-term goals.
01
Confirm the fit
Symptoms, medical history and appropriate lab findings are reviewed together before treatment is considered.

BEYOND HORMONES
Performance depends on more than testosterone.
Hormones may be one part of the picture, but sleep, metabolic health, nutrition, stress and daily habits can also shape how you feel. ERA looks at these factors together so your plan supports the bigger picture.
04
Stress, Focus & Lifestyle
Chronic stress, workload, routines and lifestyle patterns can contribute to changes in motivation, focus, sleep and long-term wellness.
03
Nutrition & Resilience
Nutrition, micronutrient status and supportive supplementation may be considered when they fit your individual needs and findings.
02
Metabolic Health
Glucose regulation, insulin resistance, body composition and cardiovascular risk can affect how you feel and perform over time.
01
Sleep & Recovery
Sleep quality and recovery can influence energy, focus, appetite, exercise response and overall resilience.
A more complete plan: when hormones are not the whole story, functional wellness strategies can help address the factors that may be working together.
MEN'S HEALTH FAQ
Questions before you get started?
Here are answers to common questions about men's health evaluations, lab testing, testosterone therapy, monitoring and what to expect at ERA Wellness Spa.
How do I know if low testosterone is causing my symptoms?
Symptoms such as fatigue, reduced libido, changes in body composition or lower motivation can have many causes. ERA looks at your symptoms, health history and appropriate lab testing together before deciding whether testosterone may be part of the picture.
What labs may be checked for men's health?
Testing is individualized. Depending on your history and symptoms, your evaluation may include hormone, thyroid, metabolic, cardiovascular, blood count or prostate-related markers.
Does a low testosterone result automatically mean I need TRT?
No. A single result does not determine the entire plan. Symptoms, appropriate confirmatory testing, medical history, goals and other possible contributors should all be considered before treatment decisions are made.
How is testosterone therapy monitored?
Monitoring depends on the treatment plan and your individual risk factors. Follow-up may include symptom review and repeat laboratory testing so treatment can be adjusted with safety and response in mind.
Can testosterone therapy affect fertility?
Yes. Testosterone therapy can suppress sperm production in some men. If fertility is important now or in the future, tell your provider before starting treatment so it can be considered in your plan.
What if my symptoms are not primarily hormonal?
That is possible. Sleep, metabolic health, nutrition, stress, medications and other health factors can overlap with hormone-related symptoms. ERA's men's health approach is designed to look at the broader picture.
How often will I need follow-up?
Follow-up frequency depends on your findings, treatment plan and how you are responding. Your provider will recommend an appropriate schedule for symptoms, labs and ongoing monitoring.
Do I need to know which service I need before booking?
No. You can start with a men's health consultation. The goal of the first visit is to understand what has changed, review your history and determine what evaluation or next step makes sense.
Still unsure where to start? A men's health consultation can help determine whether your next step is targeted lab testing, hormone evaluation, functional wellness support or another approach.
